MEET ME IN THE DESERT

Long story short – an LA boy and a Las Vegas girl fell in love in the desert. Some of our dearest friends might have seen it coming, but we sure didn’t! We first met while cheering on our favorite team, the Golden Knights, yet our journey together wouldn’t truly begin for a few more years. Life had its own plans, weaving us in and out of each other’s paths as we figured out our places in the world. But Alicia always had a feeling about that dark-haired guy. Just when Abel tried to return to his LA roots, fate had other ideas. An unexpected opportunity brought him back to Las Vegas—because if you know Vegas, you know she doesn’t let go that easily. They say timing is everything, and our story is proof of that. The Life is Beautiful music festival became the backdrop for the beginning of something special. We finally had the chance to explore not just one of our favorite events, but also that undeniable feeling that there was something more between us. And really—who wouldn’t fall in love with Rüfüs Du Sol as their soundtrack? If you know, you know. From that weekend on, we knew we had found our forever festival partner. Through countless concerts and cozy nights trying every wine at the grocery store while weathering a pandemic together, we built the foundation for the life we had both dreamed of. We've supported each other’s ambitions, pushed one another to grow, and through it all, discovered the true meaning of having a best friend. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. It would be an honor to have you join us in the stunning desert of Moab!

These are our ride-or-dies, hype crew and the beautiful chaos behind this whole operation. They’ve seen us at our best, our worst and our weirdest - and still agreed to stand next to us while we say “I do” (bless them). This group includes longtime friends, family by blood and by choice, and the people who’ve been there for all the late-night talks, sometimes questionable circumstances, and all the life advice. They’re equal parts heart and hilarity, and we honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else to hold the bouquets, wrangle the dance floor, and keep the fun flowing. We love them endlessly, and after this wedding, we think you will too.

Where is the wedding?

Our wedding will be held at The Red Earth Venue, located at 545 UT-313, Moab, UT 84532 at 3:00pm (MDT) on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Our full wedding weekend schedule will be shared in June 2025.

Transportation to the venue?

Yes! We’ve arranged a shuttle to make it easy for everyone to get to and from the celebration. You’re also welcome to drive your own vehicle, but please note that overnight parking is not permitted at the venue. The shuttle will depart at 2:00 PM (MDT) from two convenient locations in Moab. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to ensure an on-time departure. The return pickup from The Red Earth venue will be at 10:30 PM (MDT). What date should I RSVP by?

 Can we bring the kids?

As much as we love the kiddos, this will be an adults only celebration. It’s the perfect excuse for a fun date weekend - you deserve it!

We recommend booking your hotel, Airbnb or preferred accommodations soon - October is a popular month in Moab! Stay dates are Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26.  Is there ride share in Moab, UT?

Ride‑share services like Uber and Lyft are available but limited. We recommend arranging transportation ahead of time, using local taxi or shuttle services, or renting a car for the most flexibility.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! You all know us well - there will definitely be an open bar. We’ll have wine, beer, champagne, and our signature cocktails flowing all night. Please be sure to take care of our amazing bartender – he’s just as excited as we are to celebrate with you!

WorldMark Moab will be our main hub and the perfect spot for the wedding party to stay before the big day! Just 10.7&nbsp;miles from the wedding venue, it’s a great place to relax, mingle, and get to know other wedding attendees in a laid-back, scenic setting. The suites are spacious, with kitchens, living areas, and balconies/patios to soak up the stunning red rock views. Enjoy the outdoor pool, hot tubs, fire pits, and the delicious Sandstone Café. Plus, it's conveniently located within walking distance of a local brewery - perfect for a casual hangout before the festivities begin! The breathtaking desert views and great company will make it an unforgettable pre-wedding experience.

WorldMark Moab

Located right next to WorldMark and within walking distance, Element Moab is a convenient option for guests who want to stay close to the wedding party. Like WorldMark, it’s just 10.7 miles from the wedding venue, offering a comfortable place to relax, socialize, and connect with other wedding guests. It is stylish and comfortable hotel for your wedding weekend stay. The suites are spacious and modern, featuring full kitchens, cozy living areas, and private balconies or patios - perfect for taking in those epic red rock views. You can unwind in the outdoor pool or hot tubs and gather around the fire pits. It's also just a short walk to a local brewery - ideal for a relaxed hangout before the big day.

Element Moab

Hoodoo Moab is another excellent hotel recommendation for wedding guests. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Moab, Utah, we stayed here during our first visit and absolutely loved it! Just 12.5 miles from the wedding venue, this Hilton property offers a luxurious stay with a variety of room options, a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, and an on-site restaurant and bar—everything you need for a comfortable and exciting stay near the stunning nature and vibrant culture of Moab! Within walking distance, you'll find a variety of local restaurants, art galleries, and the popular Moab Brewery. The area is also home to cultural events and live music, ensuring there’s always something exciting to explore between wedding festivities.

Hoodoo Moab, Curio Collection by Hilton

Located 11.5 miles from the wedding venue, Hyatt Place Moab is a modern hotel in Moab, Utah, just five miles from Arches National Park and one mile from downtown. It offers 118 guest rooms and eight Casitas with plush beds, sleeper sofas, and free WiFi. The hotel features a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and an on-site restaurant with American cuisine, including vegetarian and gluten-free options, plus a complimentary breakfast bar.

Hyatt Place Moab

Just 2.9 miles from the wedding venue, Under Canvas Moab offers luxury glamping near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Guests stay in safari-style tents with plush beds, wood-burning stoves, and private or shared bathrooms. The camp features on-site dining, adventure activities, yoga, and nightly campfires. With no electricity or Wi-Fi, it provides a true nature escape with easy access to nearby parks.

To kick off the weekend, we’ll be heading to a local winery for a wine tasting before gathering at a nearby brewery for the welcome event. If you arrive by Thursday afternoon, we’d love for you to join us - relax, sip some wine and enjoy the beautiful fall weather in Moab.

Time to turn it up! Join us at our favorite Moab brewery for drinks, bites, and plenty of laughs. It’s the perfect way to mix, mingle and celebrate the start of the wedding weekend.

Welcome Event: Proper Brewing

We’ll kick off Friday with an adventure to Moab’s most iconic landmark - Delicate Arch! The hike is about 3 miles round trip and usually takes 2–3 hours, depending on our pace and how long we soak in the views at the arch. Lace up your hiking shoes, pack some water and join us - it’s the perfect way to explore the desert together.

Morning Hike: Arches National Park

Before the wedding festivities, we’re turning Friday night into a proper pre-party! We’ve got a private space with incredible views and a full bar - perfect for cocktails, cold beers and plenty of cheers. Add in Spitfire’s smoky BBQ and hearty sides and it’s the ultimate spot to eat, drink, and get the celebrations rolling.
